Spanning five releases from Basic Printer’s catalog, this career-spanning compilation brings together a hand-picked selection of Jesse Gillenwalters’ experimental pop, synth-driven grooves, glitchy textures, and heartfelt songwriting, all in one place.

The tracklist was a collaboration between Basic Printer and Rocket Otter Records, with Jesse selecting the songs and Rocket Otter sequencing them into a new listening experience. Pulling from the self-titled Basic Printer EP, Good Weird, Fantastic Wrist, Haha Yeah, and Goodbyenary Code, the collection traces the evolution of Basic Printer’s self-described “gloitchpop” sound while highlighting the playful energy and creative weirdness that connects it all.

The goal? An “oops, all bangers” tracklist.

The Rocket Otter Records Mixtape Series was created as a way to celebrate independent artists, introduce their music to new listeners, and give fans something special to hold in their hands. Rocket Otter covers the upfront costs of producing each release and recoups only the direct project expenses. Once those costs have been recovered, 100% of all profits from the release go directly to the artist.

Presented on cassette as the first installment in the Rocket Otter Records Mixtape Series, this collection is a physical celebration of Basic Printer’s catalog for longtime fans and a perfect entry point for anyone discovering the project for the first time.
