The sophomore release from Golden Streets of Paradise, featuring former members of Brandtson. Throes expands on the band’s established sound with a darker, more anxious tone, engaging with themes of isolation, fear, and sorrow. The record was self-produced with an emphasis on organic sounds, live synths, and minimally processed drums. Recommended if you like goth-influenced post-punk, darkwave, or moody alternative rock.
