Following the acclaim of her 2021 debut album Going to Hell, Lande Hekt returns with the standalone single “Romantic.” Known for her introspective, journal-style songwriting and politically aware indie rock, Hekt continues exploring themes of identity, vulnerability, and connection.
“Romantic” reflects on the feeling of not quite fitting in and the comfort that can come from finding someone who understands that sense of isolation. The B-side features a cover of The Wedding Present’s “Octopussy,” originally from their 1991 album Seamonsters.
