Originally recorded in late 1993, Bass captures Morella's Forest at the moment their distinctive dream pop sound was coming into focus. Featuring five songs that bridge the gap between the raw energy of Bozur and the band's later studio work, the EP showcases lush guitars, hypnotic melodies, and the atmospheric songwriting that would soon define the band's sound.

Bass also marks an important turning point in Morella's Forest's history. It was the EP the band submitted to Tooth & Nail Records in hopes of getting signed - and it worked, launching the next chapter of their career!

This edition features remastered audio from the original tapes by Chris Colbert. The original artwork has been faithfully preserved on the exterior, while the interior has been completely reimagined with updated design by Cameron George, featuring new liner notes and expanded historical context from bassist Sean McCorkle. Also included is an exclusive Morella's Forest flower sticker!
