Solid Gold EP from St. Petersburg, Florida band Seafang channels the jangly energy and melodic charm of the C86-era indie pop scene while adding a light haze of shoegaze atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from bands like the Shop Assistants, The Primitives, and The Flatmates, the EP pairs bright guitar hooks with dreamy textures and heartfelt songwriting.
The band features vocalist Heidi alongside guitarists Susan and Stacy, drummer Paul, and bassist Gary—known to some indie fans for his work with ’90s group Honeyrider.
